What's the difference between preventive and corrective maintenance?

Preventive maintenance is scheduled servicing done before a fault occurs — filters, seals, hydraulic fluid, wear parts — to reduce downtime risk. Corrective maintenance is a repair carried out after a fault has already appeared. Both are available as one-off visits or bundled into an AMC.
