Why does grout output drop even though the pump motor still runs normally?

This is almost always a sign of rotor-stator wear on a progressive cavity grouting pump - the stator lining degrades from abrasive contact with the grout and loses its seal against the rotor, reducing flow even though the drive motor itself is unaffected.
