Why shouldn't I skip recommissioning if the equipment seems to be running fine?

Issues like underperformance or a disconnected safety interlock often aren't obvious from a basic power-on check and show up later at a more costly and disruptive point — recommissioning catches these before the equipment is relied on for active work.
